The films and how they are made
Woodslope Cabin produces A Tale of a New Era: seven feature documentaries, one each year from 2027 to 2033. Filmmaking, historical research and work with language models form a single production process. Production runs a year ahead of release: each film is shot and edited the year before it premieres.

History on a Story Arc
The first film proposes that history may be understood as a dramatic whole, and asks whether humanity now inhabits the moment in which its underlying plot becomes visible. Rough cut completed · submitted for festival consideration.
Seven films, one arc
The seven Books form one cumulative investigation in three phases: establishing the inquiry (2027–2028), testing it (2029–2031) and exploring the consequences of recognition (2032–2033).
How the films are made
The films’ narrated passages emerge through dialogue. The filmmaker introduces experience, questions, sources and direction; a language model maps relationships and proposes formulations; the filmmaker evaluates and rewrites them. The human prompts; the model maps.
